When You’re Entitled to a Full Refund
You qualify for a 100 % refund if:
- Your International Driving Document (IDD) is rejected by a car-rental company or traffic authority in a country listed on our Recognized Countries page, and you supply verifiable proof (e.g., a rejection letter or email).
- The IDD has been in circulation for no more than six months from the issue date. “In circulation” means it has been shown to any third party—rental desk, police checkpoint, etc.
Important: The IDD is accepted in more than 190 countries; rejection in one does not affect its validity elsewhere. See the Recognized Countries page for the short list of exceptions.
Digital-Delivery Guarantees
If you chose Express or Standard digital delivery, you may request a full refund when:
- Your application was complete and all documents were correctly uploaded.
- We miss the promised delivery window:

- - Standard: 2–24 hours
The clock starts only after we confirm that everything required is in order.
Lifetime, No-Cost Replacements
For as long as your IDD is valid, we replace it free of charge if:
- The digital file is lost or never arrives.
- The physical booklet or card is lost, damaged, or undelivered (confirmed by tracking).
Need it shipped to a new address or by a faster courier? We reprint and reissue at no extra cost—you pay only the new shipping fee.
30-Day Change-of-Mind Window
You may cancel and receive a refund as follows:
- Within 2 hours of ordering: 100 % refund, no questions asked.
- After 2 hours but within 30 days: 85 % refund (15 % covers processing and printing).
Shipping charges are non-refundable once the parcel has left our facility.
Accepted reasons: change of travel plans, no longer need the document, change of mind, etc.
Situations We Cannot Refund
No refund will be issued if:
- Your parcel has already shipped when you cancel.
- You claim authority rejection but cannot provide official proof.
- Delays or rejections result from incomplete or inaccurate information you supplied.
- The refund request arrives more than six months after the original order date.
How to Request a Refund or Replacement
Email us at hello@idpglobal.org with:
- Your full name and order ID
- A concise description of the problem
- Any supporting documents (rejection letter, tracking screenshot, etc.)
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
